*EUROPEAN COMMISSION WARNS GREECE WILL BE QUARANTINED IN THREE MONTHS IF IT DOES NOT STEM MIGRANT INFLUX
*TSIPRAS GOVERNMENT THREATENS TO USE POLICE TO STOP FARMERS ENTERING ATHENS ON FRIDAY WITH TRACTORS
*FINAL VERSION OF MY CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST GREEK POLICE, JUSTICE OFFICIALS AND OTHERS POSTED HERE
The European Commission has told Greece that it has three months to protects its borders and stem the influx of migrants into northern Europe, or its borders will be sealed and the migrants will be forced to remain in Greece.
In a separate development, the confrontation between farmers in Greece and the government of Alexis Tsipras is ecalating after Tsipras’ government said it would use thousands of police to stop the farmers from entering Athens with their tractors on Friday.
By dispersing their tractors and setting up blockades in multiple locations around Athens, farmers can overstretch the police force and cut off supplies to the city for days on end.
A good tactic would also be to set up obstacles and barricades on the road in front of their tractors to stop police vehicles from getting too close to them. Obstacles would also give the tractors time to disperse if the police come to close and regroup in a different locations, forcing the police to chase after them and wearing them down.
Using reasoning with Greek police, for example, by pointing out that it will be themselves and their children, who will suffer when the farmer’s are made bankrupt, the country is ejected from the Schengen and euro zone, does not seem to be option. I say that now from my own experience of the past two weeks.
