Hundreds of migrants at Idomeni camp on Sunday morning tried to storm the border fence and enter Macedonia.
Their actions were in response to leaflet apparently distributed by activists inciting the migrants to invade Macedonia by force if the country refused to open its borders.
Macedonian police used tear gas to push back migrants.
Greek police acting presumably on the orders of Alexis Tsipras’ Interior Minister stood by and watched as what can only be called an attempt to invade Macedonia and Europe launched from Greece’s territory unfolded.
However, the Greek Defence Ministry did allow Macedonian police to deploy in front of the border fence to protect it.
