MAJORITY OF UK PUBLIC BACK JUNIOR DOCTORS AHEAD OF ALL OUT STRIKE


An online poll in The Telegraph shows that the overwhelming majority, 77%, of the UK population back the junior doctors in their dispute with Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt.

Junior doctors have set up a permanent camp outside the Department of Health in London to protest the imposition of a slave wage contract that endangers patients’ safety by stretching resources too thin.

The callous disregard of Hunt to patient safety is shown by the way he is willing to risk the first ever all out strike rather than negotiate a reasonable contract with junior doctors.
