HOPES OF DEFAULT IN GREECE GROW


Media report Greece could be about to undergo a disorderly default after Alexis Tsipras made a “fatal miscalculation” in negotiations with creditors. Tsipras was asked to produce another 2.7 billion euros of savings, creating a new hurdle.

A disorderly default gives rise to the hope that the rest of Europe might finally have a bit of peace from the endless crises generated by Athens, and so be able to get on with the vital work of switching over the Eurozone from the private creation of money to sovereign money and developing a long term economic strategy.
