Xenia Dimitriadou was visiting Larisa court and bar association yesterday when she heard about her appointment by the government of Alexis Tsipras to the position of top criminal prosecutor at the Areois Pagos or Greece’s Supreme Court.
She gave a talk on prisoner re education organized by the head of the Larisa bar association Dimitris Katsaros, and attended by officials from the Justice Ministry, including former justice official and criminologist Marinos Sandamis.
I sincerely hope that Dimitriadou took the opportunity during her visit to Larisa to become fully informed about my scandalous case here and that she gave clear instructions to hold the prosecutors to account and to ensure there is no more perversion of justice.
If she is not informed about my case and gave no such instructions, she has already failed the first test of competence at the very least. The fact that the Tsipras government appointed her should not allow her to influence her in the performance of her job.
There should be no room for incompetents or criminals among the ranks of Greek justice.
I will write to Dimiatriadou and ask her for answers to my questions.
