As voters go to the polls in the Brexit referendum today, Germany’s pro EU media propaganda machine has shifted into top gear.
Feigning objectivity, Der Spiegel took a snap poll among commuters in the London underground. The result was 21 votes for Remain and 4 for Leave.
That’s an extraordinary 80% for Remain and 20% for Leave.
The number of fake postal votes and crosses have to be rubbed out on ballots to get that result is absolutely staggering…
One little detail Der Spiegel forgot to mention, however. It’s the City line connecting London Bridge to the heart of the banking district. Yes, Der Spiegel is asking bankers on their way to work which way they will vote.
So surprise, suprise, almost everyone in the carriage says they will vote Remain with just a handful for Leave. This propaganda stunt is sold as an “almost representative poll.” Yes, it’s very neutral and representative indeed to go to, say, Bayern Munchen football club, and ask the fans there if they support Bayern Munchen or Barcelona.
Just shows you how desperate Germany’s established media are to sway public opinion towards a Remain vote. The restless Germans mustn’t get the idea that they could leave the EU too…
