A national militia has been established in the Czech Republic with the aim of protecting the country from a “massive influx of Islamic immigrants.
About 2,500 people have already joined the militia force, including former military personnel such as military doctor Marek Obrtel, reports “Lidove noviny”.
One of the leaders Nela Liskova warned that the “people could take the matter into their own hands” if the governments doesn’t act to limit the number of arrivals.
Members are expected to carry weapons.
“Whoever wants a colourful world, can go to Asia or Africa. The opponents of migration also want a colourful world, but not here,” said former TV journalist Frantisek Krejca.
