The populist conservative Freedom Party has rejected a plan by the open borders Green Party to guarantee in advance they will not mount a legal challenge to the presidential election set to be rerun in October amid fears of fresh voter fraud.
It is precisely the deterrence of another legal challenge, which is the only hope that there will be less voter fraud next time around.
A blanket guarantee not to take legal action signed in advance with the very party which profited most from the last round of voter fraud is an open invitation to that same Green Party to commit more voter fraud. For the Green Party to ask for such a guarantee raises doubts about their seriousness of holding fair elections as well as their commitment to the law and democracy.
As it is, there still seems to be inadequate control over postal and proxy vote applications. So, even the hundreds of thousands of postal votes are counted correctly this time around, those votes could still be fakes.
