GSK discounts price for doubtful vaccine for migrants in Greece

GlaxoSmithKline, the British pharmaceutical company, has offered Greek NGOs, including MSF, a special discount on its vaccine Synflorix, which has not been proven to protect children against pneumonia and other diseases, to encourage mass vaccination of migrants, offering a price of $3.05 per dose.

To repeat, there is limited data available showing that Synflorix is effective.
