Tsipras’ Justice Minister smears critical judge to push through his media power grab

*TSIPRAS’ JUSTICE MINISTER TARGETS CRITICAL JUDGE FOR SMEAR CAMPAIGN

*JUDGE SHOULD FILE CHARGES AGAINST HIM FOR PARTICIPATING IN A POLITICALLY ORGANIZED SYSTEM OF INJUSTICE AND PERSECUTION OF THE POLITICAL AND JUDICIAL OPPONENTS OF ALEXIS TSIPRAS

*I WILL CERTAINLY FILE CHARGES AGAINST AREOIS PAGOS PRESIDENT AND CHIEF PROSECUTOR FOR THEIR ROLE IN PERVERTING THE COURSE OF JUSTICE AND SETTING ME UP FOR A LETHAL PENALTY ON BEHALF OF TSIPRAS IF THERE IS NO FAST CORRECTION

Alexis Tsipras’ Justice Minister Nikos Paraskevopoulos has ordered an investigation into a top court judge opposing Tsipras’ TV license plan in a blatant attempt at intimidation, it has emerged.

“Mr. Paraskevopoulos admitted today that he had been officially informed since November 2015 about the case of the top court judge, but chose not to investigate it as he doubted the legality of the material’s origin,” the opposition party said in a press release.

“We assessed he had to keep it in his drawer for a whole year and pulled it out when the judge objected to the postponement of the ruling by the Supreme Court on the known issue of the unconstitutionality of Pappas’ law [TV licensing law],” he added.

I have alleged for some time that Greek justice officials are misusing the law to target political opponents and critical journalists. This case is yet more proof of a pattern of judicial and prosecutorial support for a  programme of persecution of political opponents, and charges should be filed against Paraskevopoulos.

If the Nazi German judges who misused the justice system to atack political opponents of Hitler could be put on trial for it under international law, so can Paraskevopoulos.

It is not enought to complain that the Justice Minister is guilty of participation in a politically organized system of injustice and persecution of the political opponents of Alexis Tsipras.

He needs to be charged with that and removed from his post.

Paraskevopoulos is almost certainly involved in my ongoing case. I was told when I went to the Areios Pagos in April by one of the two secretaries of President Vasiliki Thanou that she thought she had heard of my case from a letter from the Justice Minister…

Tsipras and his delegated authority Paraskevopoulos  is enacting and enforcing the law selectively to target opponents of his agenda at critical times.

The cronyism of Tsipras is a shield to those justice officials who bend the law, but before a court authorized to enforce the country’s law and international law, Tsipras’ shield will not be of any protection to the crooked justice officials if their actions are in violation of the law of Greece and of Europe as they plainly are in my case.

Tsipras, reader of my blog, has not only helped cover up a murder attempt made against me on account of my journalism activities in April 2015 in Greece, he has, I allege, orchestrated through his Justice and Interior Ministers a way of perverting justice that sets me up for a lethal penalty under the pretext of putting the culprits on trial next month.

The Areios Pagos top judge and prosecutor have had all the verifiable evidence in their possession for months and have done nothing to stop this state organized execution, so grotesque, it could have been authored by Nazi judge Roland Freisler.

I have had to invest enormous efforts, find evidence, file charges, go to the court to try to stop this execution by the crooked Tsipras prosecutors.

Areios Pagos Deputy Prosecutor Anna Zairi came to Larisa court finally last Tuesday, but claimed not to know anything about my case even though a secretary pointed e to her. She then seemed to be intent on smearing me, suggesting I was enjoying a holiday in Greece and creating a big fuss about nothing. But then, almost all criminals rationalize their crimes by smearing their victim.

The ice cold instruments for killing Tsipras’ opponents sitting in the Areios Pagos have played with my life one time too many when they gave the very person responsible for the crime, the task of investigating that crime in September. As predicted, First Prosecutor Dimitra Papachristou did absolutely nothing.

It remains to be seen whether the Areios Pagos decides to go along with the Tsipras system of crony and political justice and turn a blind eye to the execution of a journalist reminiscent of Nazi Germany in November. Or if the decide to do their job and apply the law in a fair and equitable way even to their poltical cronies. They must realize they will ultimately have to face the courts of law in Greece and Europe for any crimes against me.

At any rate, there is not much time left before Vasiliki Thanou and Xenia Dimitriadou will be facing charges. On Monday, I will give testimony to a judge in Larisa about a very serious crime which should lead to the immediate questioning of the essential witnesses. But since the chain goes all the way up to Tsipras, the Areios Pagos will most likely will continue not to do their job. But this time, they will face a legal penalty. They can be crooks, if they want. They can be openly bribed if they want. But they will not have immunity. The Greek people tend to be passive in the face of massive crimes. I do not.
