Alexis Tsipras and his right hand man, Minister Nikos Pappas, suffered a major blow on Wednesday when judges struck down his plan to consolidate power over Greece’s private TV channels.
Tsipras has already turned the country’s state controlled TV station, ERT, into a propaganda channel.
Greece’s supreme administrative court, the Council of State, ruled Nikos Pappas acted unconstitutionally by licensing TV broadcasters himself since the constitution reserves that power for an independent media regulator.
In early September, Pappas auctioned broadcast permits for only four private TV channels in an intransparent and bizarre process, leaving TV stations more critical of Tsipras facing the axe.
Judges resisted the attempt to exert pressure on them by emotional blackmail when Pappas said the down payment from the auction would be used to feed hungry Greek children.
Few people have cost hungry Greek children more than the cynical Tsipras and his equally nauseating Minister serving up fake compassion for hungry children in order to manipulate judges into accepting a dangerous concentration of TV channels under Tsipras, a puppet of Globalist George Soros.
