GOD CALMS ALL STORMS

Donald Trump has been widely mocked by the mainstream media for saying that getting elected and being a president of integrity is the only way he will get to Heaven.

I, on the other hand, welcome the way Trump has introduced the most important factor into this election. That is, God, the individual conscience and destiny.

God does not expect us to sit on the fence, twiddle our thumbs in the face of massive evil. He wants us to take action, to fight evil , and its roots, egotism, in whatever capacity we can. He wants us to prove that we really value Him and the well being of other people through actions. He places us in uncomfortable situations where we have to make choices and go through the crucible and fire of trials to grind away the egoism inside us.

The US election on Tuesday is not just about Americanism versus Globalism, a new, alternative media versus a rigged media, or  integrity versus a crime syndicate. It is also a demarcation line between people of genuine faith in God, genuine conscience, and those without. I believe Trump is a man of genuine faith.

The hallmark of the Christian in the book of Revelation is not moral perfection. The Christian is the ones who fight evil at risk of death to the very end. That is what Trump has shown he is ready to do.

If we do fight evil, we really can expect God’s help. Trump is absolutely right to say, that if his individual conscience tells him he must be a President of integrity because God is watching him, he’d better shape up. I believe he will shape up and God will bless him with opportunities to bring peace and prosperity to America.

For if we have any success in our fight, our battle against evil, it should never make us arrogant or complacent. Without God’s intervention, help, inspiration, we could never succeed against the monstrous evil which is manifested in the Globalists like Hillary Clinton and George Soros

Believe me when I say that if I am alive today and have been able to formally accuse Globalist George Soros in Larisa court of being behind the many attempts to silence me on the basis of evidence, then it is only because of the constant interventions of God to help me. The fact that I was even able to prove that Soros read my blog is the result of a miraculous arrangement of chance circumstances.

Soros is the basis for the portrayal of the ultimate James Bond villain portrayed in the film Quantum of Solace. He is a man with virtually unlimited resources and also of unlimited evil. I have argued that he was at the centre of the Ebola false flag in 2014 along with Bill Gates. The Ebola false flag was a vile, horrifically evil plot if ever there was one.

Interestingly, the ancient Greeks had a natural, intuitive sense that the gods were very involved in their lives. Homer’s epics The Illiad and The Odyssey are saturated with gods.

Just one example are the many the gods involved in Odysseus attempt to reach the safety of Phaeacian shore.

“Poseidon god of the earthquake launched a colossal wave,
terrible, murderous, arching over him, pounding down on him, hard as a windstorm blasting piles of dry parched chaff,  scattering flying husks — so the long planks of his boat were scattered far and wide.”

But the god Poseidon is battled by Athena, daughter  of Zeus.

“But Zeus’s daughter Athena countered him at once.
The rest of the winds she stopped right in their tracks,
commanding them all to hush now, go to sleep.
All but the boisterous North — she whipped him up
and the goddess beat the breakers flat before Odysseus,
dear to Zeus, so he could reach the Phaeacians,
mingle with men who love their long oars
and escape his death at last.”

When I arrived in Ouranopoulis, the port for Mount Athos, on a dark and stormy night, I was reminded of those great descriptions.

We are blessed because we live in an era after the birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus Christ brought to us, blind mortals, the full knowledge of the nature of God, something that the ancient Greeks did not have and could not obtain with their limitations as fallen mortals. We don’t have to rely any more on intuitive sense there are gods out there, living on the point of highest elevation, Mount Olympus, as Homer did. We can attain the certain knowledge there is one God, and that He sent his one, true Son, Jesus Christ, to help us reconnect with the spiritual realm.

Unlike Odysseus who is terrified of the storm, Jesus sleeps through the storm. He knows he is immortal by virtue of his spirit. No wave, no storm can kill him.

“A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”

He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”

The descriptions of the series of storms at sea are tremendous in the Odyssey. They have certain stock elements like a divine source, waves, wind, clouds, darkness, thunder, lightning, but each one is unique, great poetry.

“With that he rammed the clouds together — both hands
clutching his trident — churned the waves into chaos, whipping
all the gales from every quarter, shrouding over in thunderheads
the earth and sea at once — and night swept down from the sky —
East and South Winds clashed and the raging West and North,
sprung from the heavens, roiled heaving breakers up —
and Odysseus’ knees quaked, his spirit too;
numb with fear he spoke to his own great heart:
“Wretched man — ^what becomes of me now, at last?”

But the storms of the Sea of Galilee are far worse, it seems, with ten foot high waves.

Yet we do not have to fear any wave, any storm, any trial, any challenge, any danger if we have faith, real faith in Jesus Christ and in God, proven in our actions. For Jesus Christ is ready to pour into our spirit, energy, force, inspiration, life. We can attain the certainty that we really are immortal even in this life if we are ready to prove that God and the welfare of other people mean more to us than money, power, reputation.

Jesus Christ has the power to calm our storms.
