Donald Trump has signed an executive order for the wall in Mexico to gain control over the illegal flow of immigrants into the United States.
Trump also enhanced screening procedures for migrants and halt admissions from Syria and suspend it from other nations where radical Islam is rampant, including Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia and Syria, until the administration can study how to weed out anyone who posed a danger.
The order would shift already appropriated federal funds to the construction of a 2000 mile wall, and could be paid for by debt free money issued by the Treasury.
Secretary of Defense James Mattis presided over 31 strikes against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria within an hour of taking his oath of office.
Mattis is also preparing to present Trump with plans to accelerate the fight against ISIS when he visits the Pentagon.
