WH lawyers tell Trump aides to preserve materials for Russia probe, conflicts with “Leave no paper trail” policy of Bannon

White House lawyers yesterday instructed Donald Trump’s team to preserve materials related to Russian contacts after his team was caught secretly using a state of the art encryption app that violates federal laws on record keeping.

In leaving no paper trail, Trump’s aides seem to be implementing the policy of Steve Bannon.

The people Trump meets when he visits his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida surely also need to be examined. His weekend trips would provide the ideal opportunity for him to mix and mingle with Russian oligarchs.
